At post 5 minutes. Start straggling. Won driving and all ont; second easily. Curtsey showed the most speed, raced Bonnie Maid into exhaustion in the first half and had to be driven to tho limit at the end to stall off All Saints. Ttie latter was off poorly and had to go around her field to get up, but came very fast in the last furlong and would have won in a few more strides. Kings Pet made up a lot ot ground and finished strongly. Bonnie Maid was raced into exhaustion chasing Curtsey and tired at the finish. Sortie ran a good race from a poor beginning and closed a big gap, but the effort told on him. Onyx II. was off in his stride and showed the most early speed, but was tiring at the end and just managed to last long enough under hard pressure. Enuo finished very strongly under a hard drive, but could not qnite get up. Belle Barnard ran an impressive race, but tired in the closing strides. Tom Hall is a sluggish colt, but a strong finisher. Kelly never let up on her. She was under a hard drive in the last furlong to stall off Bill Massie. The latter came very fast in the run home and fought it out to the last stride. Uledi ran his race under the weight and was tiring at the end. Khaki dropped out of it on the far turn, but came again in the stretch and finished strongly. Tremar showed early speed, but tired iu tho last furlong ana tho race will probably improve her. Velma Clark came strongly at tho end and was catching Tremar. Foueda found the early pace too hot and fell back beaten. Young Henry about ran his race. Silk Cord was all tangled up at the start and could not make up the lost ground. Captain For-aker dropped out of it on tho far turn and came again in tho run home. Concertina had no mishaps. Scortic was raced into exhaustion in setting the early pace.
