Ladj Jocelyn began slowly, but moved up gradually on the leaders when turning for home and finished resolutely under a powerful ride by Winkfield. Airlight saved ground by going next to the inside rail in the last eighth and finished stoutly. Adios stood along stretch drive with gameness. Flo-carline fell away apparently badly beaten just before turning for home, but rallied in the last eighth and finished strongly. Belle Graham retired well beaten when a furlong out. Judi-eionsr always well up, came away with ease in the last eighth when called on and won as her rider pleased. Matin Bell was pinched out of position soon after the start and fell away to last place while going down the backstretch, but moved up fast when she got clear yailing and, passing the field rapidly in the last quarter, finished with a great rush. Emathion lost ground when swinging into the stretch, but made it up in the last quarter and was going strongly at the end. Red Tip tired fast in the last sixteenth. Aules showed much speed, but fell away beaten in the last eighth struggle. Lass of Langdon ran wall for six furlongs. Scratched 34157 Proetorius, 103 ; 29354 Corinne Unland, 105; 343832Haydon, 106. The latter showed much speed, but tired palpably when the pinch came. Orontas appeared to have a chance when entering the final quarter, but tired badly in the last sixteenth.
