PURSE ORDERED RETURNED. Detroit, Mich., August 21 D. S. Fountain, the California horseman, was here today and purchased a couple of horses. He bought Filibuster from R F. Meyers and Dumont from J. H. Baker. The purse won by the jumper, Terry Banger, was ordered returned. An investigation brought out the fact that the horse was trained by jockey J. Gormley, the ruled off steeplechase rider. The purse has been awarded to Arius, which finished second, and Terry Banger stands suspended until it is returned. Mars Cassidy will do the starting the first four days next week at Kinloch Park.
