Baikal caught Suburban Queen tiring in the run home, drew away without much effort and was only cantering at the end. Scottish Blue finished strongly and outgamed Epidemic when it came to a drive. It was a weak finish on Epidemic. Snburban Queen was quickest to get into motion and opened up a gap before tho others got in their stride. She was in the good going all the way. Judge Voorhees ran in much improved form under an improved ride. Scratched 34630 Diamante. 110. Overweights Suburban Queen. I pound ; Effie S., 1. Baikal, show, 3 to 5. Scottish Blue, show, evens. L.Jackson kept Uledi in good going all the way and outrode Mclnerny when it came to a finish. Glen Water had to go all around his field when rounding the far turn. Ho was best and would have won with riders reversed. Barouche was given a weak ride. Tenagra was used up in setting tho pace. Corrected weights Barouche, 98. Overweights Tenagra, 3 pounds. Shrine showed much the most speed and was never in trouble. She is a quick beginner and opened up a winning lead in the first quarter. Christine A. was on the outside all the way, finished very strongly and caught Mag-honi and Rheta tiring in the last furlong. Maghoni saved ground at the homo turn and finished next to tho inside rail. Rheta was hustled along all the way, but Jackson was struck in the face with a clod of dirt, interfering with his riding effectively. Shrine, show, out. Christine A . show, 2 to 1. Tarpey had to go around the leaders at the turn into tho homestretch, caught the leaders tiring and was going away at the endi Delmarch was messed about in the first half, came through next to the inside rail when entering the homtstretch and appeared like a winner at the furlong post, but tired when tho deciding drive camo. Loono ran a good race, but stumbled a couple of times in tho stretch run, yst outgamod Colonel Anderson when it came to a drive.
