Start poor. Won driving; second the same. Albula assumed command on the stretch bend after Haidee showed signs of quitting and finished stoutly. Rustic Girl, off poorly and interfered with at the half mile ground, saved ground on the stretch bend and finished strongly. Haidee ran well for five furlongs, showing the most speed, but quit when the deciding drive came. Carrie I. and Velma Clark were off too poorly to cut any figure in the result. Briers began slowly, but mowed his field down gradually and finished strongly. Tom Hall tirod after going well for six furlongs. Sauber appeared beaten at the last obstacle, but responded and cams again under punishment. Sir Ellerrlie ran in surprisingly improved form. Trenct the More fell at the sixth jump. Annie Thompson ran well for the first seven furlongs, but showed weakness at the end. CaBt Iron was crowded on the backstretch and might have been closer up but for this. Tempt was lucky at the start ard followed tho pace closely, but was tiring at tho end as if short. Longflo, away poorly, gradually woaved his way through the field and finished strongly. Sortie was a contender for five-eighths only. Cad Hazel suffered from interference and was taken wide on the stretch turn and was going strongly at the end.
