Longflo was a sufferer at the start by being caught in a jam and was also poorly handled. Candling was nearly thrown down at the start. He showed a great flight of early speed but was well spent after going six furlongs. Lord Frazer had much the best of the send off and paced the field apparently under restraint for the first three-quarters, but tired rapidly in the run home. Also Ran II. about ran to his mark. The winner was run up 05 and retained. Scratched 316923Fairy Dell, 112; 348442 Miss Soak, 107; 34810 Flaneur, 107; 3432 4 Carl C, 105. Corrected Weights Longflo, 112 pounds. Boomerack, show, out. Ethel Davis showsd the most early speed, was skillfully nursed and had sufficient left to stall off Frank Mc in the stretch when he made a determined bid. The latter began slowly, but when fully in his stride came strongly. Trio ran a fair race throughout and lasted better than he usually does. Siphon ran well for five furlongs, but apparently lacks staying power. The Mirage jumped in the air as the barrier was released virtually causing him to be left. Scratched 347843Lady Berkeley, 104.
