Won handily; second 1 easily Alpen was cut off at the three-eighths, but saved ground on the stretch turn and won eased up. Orrie Goan was always a keen contender, but tired in the last sixteenth. The Forum ran a good race and closed up well in the stretch. Eleanor Howard showed speed, but tired in the stretch run. Ami-gari can do much better in the going. If You Dare was well away, always in hand and was eased up at the end. Aules ran a very strong race under a very bad ride Mathilde ran to the mark and had all the worst of the going.
