Goody Twoshoes easily woro down Florestan in the last sixteenth and won going away. The latter was much the best of tho others. He appeared ihe winner when a fnrlong out but tired palpably when challenged by the winner. Zepho finishod strongly. Albemarle tired rapidly in the laBt eighth struggle. Old Fox ran his race and was oasily the best of the others. Bristol made up ground after taking the final jump. It was strictly a three-horse race after Crest fell. Scarlet Lily made up ground fast in the last quarter, getting up in time to nip Duelist on the post. The latter tirad palpably all through the last fifty yards. Rolling Boer ceased to be a serious contender after a half mile had baen run. The Lady was nowhere up to a good race and might just as well have remained in her stall. Pirates Queen began slowly, but was coming fast at the end and would have been third in a few more strides. Haydons race was far below the form shown in bis previous performance. Tho latter was taken wide when turning for home and finished strongly under a vigorous ride but swerved slightly in the last sixteenth. Chickadee steadily wore down Alaska in the last eighth struggle. The latter appeared to have a good chancs when turning for home butr tired badly when called on in the last eighth. Irving Mayor fell away badly beaten when the pinch came. Learoyds chances were killed in many false breakaways bsfore the start.
