Won handily ; seconddriving. Aylmer Bruce, off well, displayed much speed, but had to be hand ridden out at the end. Monia finished strongly next to the inside rail after making up much ground in the last quarter. Naulakha came with a rush at the end after running an impressive race. jHad she not bolted at the start and lost considerable ground she would undoubtedly have won. Count Em Out began slowly, but made up ground fast after the first half had been run and finished stoutly. Blessed Damozel tired fast just before entering the stretch. Wing Dance ran a dull race. The Lady, m off none too well, began slowly, but moved ud with a rush when turning for home and easily passed Eva Rice in the last sixteenth. The lattnr was lucky to get off in her stride, showed much speed and stood a stretch drive with gameness. La Goleta tired perceptibly in the closing strides. Pink Coat did not set into his stride until after making the first turn. He showed little speed until entering the last eighth were he moved up fast and would have been third in a few more strides. The latter finished strongly, but could nrt quite get up. He was under a vigorous ride all through the last quarter. Alaska outstnyed Ida V. in the last sixteenth struggle. The former was slightly cut off when turning for home. Harney ran a good race, carrying his speed much farther than usual. Cougar was well beaten after seven furlongs had been run.
