The latter -was best and lost sufficient ground in fencing poorly to beat her, but showed superior speed on the flat and can beat this kind. Silver Twist showed decided improvement. Draughtsman quit in the last quarter and is strictly a mud horse. Seminole ran a bad race. Throw it out. Corrected weights Seminole, 145, Yelp, show, 7 to 5. Templeton, show, evons. Mackey, Dwyer broke slowly, but raced into the lead early and won going away. Shorthose ran in improved form, can beat this kind when at his best and went gamely throughout. Incubator broke slowly and worked a rough passage, being repeatedly interfered with in the stretch and finished strongly. Astarita tired badly at the end. Sheriff Bell was crowded at the half and finished well. Sailmaker was also closing p at the end. Gold Money tired and is in poor form. Runnels waited on the slow pace, with plenty in reserve, to the stretch, where he moved up fast and outsprinted Warranted. The latter did his best, but was at a disadvantage in having to practically make the running. Andy Williams, poorly ridden, went wide on all the turns, losing much grouud, but finished strongly and might have won with a more capable rider. Circus led at a slow clip for the first mile, but the others ran past him in the final stretch sprint.
