Won driving; second thesame. vIola was the best, raced Junaetta and Tobe Paine into subjection in the first ha f, Booker outiinishing the other boys when it came to a drive. Junaetta showed much improvement and fought it out gamely from the head Of the stretch. Tobe Paine also ran to his besandt form and was going strongest at the end. Miss Shanley showed her usual early Bpeed, but tired when the real racing camo. Hie Away ran badly and is a bad betting proposition now. Kings Pet ran his race and had no apparent mishaps. The leaders all swung wide when coming into the stretch and Night Owl, Demi Tasse and Briers cut the corner, saving ground. Night Owl camo away without much effort in the last furlong. Demi Tasse and Briers fought it out all the way home, the former lasting longest. Briers hung on gamely. Mda and Silk and Satin were tiring badly at the end. Worthington and Allopath had it between them through the last quarter and fought it out sharply to the last stride. Walsh, on Worthington, clearly outrode Hall on Allopath in the final drive. Allopath was much the best and should have won and was easily the best of the others. Huzzah showed early speed, but tired in the stretch run. Preseidnt showed the most early speed and tiptoed his field in the first half, but came wide when turning for home, enabling the others to close up on him and had to be hard ridden in the last quarter. Bonnie Burr was also taken wide when coming into the stretch. He closed a big gap in the run home and finished strongly. Roger Smith came very fast in the final furlong. Judge Voorhees tired in the last quarter. Boittie was in the worst going next to the inner rail in the run home. Scratched 35756 Eddie T., 100. Overweights Luigart, 2 pounds. President, show, 8 to 5. Won handily ; second the same. Provost had to be much the best to win. He was interfered with just after the start and again when Ethel Davis lost her rider. He came very fast when clear and outgamed Euclaire in the run home. Eucaire ran in improved form on an improved track and was doing her best all the way. Baffled ran her usual determined race, fighting it out all the way. Meggs tired in the run homo. Presgrave was standing sideways and was being held by the assistant starter when the barrier wont up.
