Albula took command when rounding the far turn and, racing Springwells into subjection, came away in tho last quarter and won as his rider pleased. The track was not to Springwells liking. Considering this, her race was a good one. Oconee caught Him-tine tiring in the last furlong. Him tine raced up with the leaders in the first part, but fell away in the stretch. Lansdown was at home in the going, got away well, had the race safe throughout and came home in a canter. Baron Knight was doing his best to stall off Briers at the finish. The latter dropped out. of it and came again and was crowding Baron Knight at the finish. Goo Goo Eyes was not able to extend herself in the mud. Avignon tired in the run home from his early efforts to make up ground. Judge Voorhees quit in the last furlong. Scratched 357i6 Prodigality, 97. Lansdown. show, 1 to 2. Baron Knight, show, 4 to 5. Sauber and Cubanite fought it out all through the stretch. Cubanite passed Sauber at twelfth jump but the latter had the most speed on the flat and came away in the last sixteenth under a hard drive. He crossed over in front of Cubanite in the stretch but did not interfere with him. Cubanite went in decidedly improved form. Verna K. had no trouble in securing third place. Terry Ranger was always outrun. He was given an easy ride. Hurry fell at the fifth jump. Scratched 55757 Lady Silver. 130; 35755 Selma Frank, 125. No show betting. Q K QAQ FOURTH RACK-7-8 Mile. Booker took Soothsayer wide when turning for home. Onyx II. was best of the others, but weakened in the stretch from his efforts to keep pace with Soothsayer in the early stages. Benckart was well handled. Weber waited with him until in the last eighth, where he wore down Dandie Belle and outrode Castro in the final drive. Dandie Belle ran to her best form, but was tiring at the finish. The distance was a bit too far for her. Artificial was the best of the others in the going. Georgia Gardner finished strongly. Gray Dallj had.no mishaps.
