LOCAL TURF GOSSIP. S. C. Hildreth will shortly ship to Memphis to bo quartered at Montgomery Park all the horses remaining in his stable, consisting of St. Marcos, Lord Quex, Telamon, Topsoil, Favonius and two two-year-olds. H. Stovor will ship the W. H. Ketchiman horses including Kenilworth and lllowaho to California next Saturday. Ward and Harlan left yesterday for Latonia where their horses will be raced. V. Hughes shipped all his horses yesterday to Latonia. Jockey Helgesen will do the riding for the stable there. E. J. Arnold and Co. will, at the conclusion of the Worth meeting, send all their horses now in training to California, where they will be raced. The stable is a strong one and has entered liberally in the stakes to be decided this winter. S. G. Morton purchased yesterday from S. C. Hildreth for 00 a two-year-old filly by Brutus-Rio Hondo.
