GOOD RACING AT WORTH. The card at Worth yesterday was made up of 00 purses, but many good horses contested in the various races and the sport was excellent. One of the best fields that went to the post was that in the last race, a dash of one mile for threo-year-olae and upward. The winner turned up in Vulcain, wnicn showed a decided improvement over his last race i in which he finished a dismal last. He won as pis j jider pleased by one length from Moabina, winch beat lllowaho a neck for second place. Moabina showed much speed for seven furlongs, but was tiring fast at the end and would have lost second place in another stride or two to lllowaho. The second race, a dash of one mile and seventy yards for four-year-olds and upward, proved an easy thing for La Goleta, which won in a cantejr by a length from Constellator, which beat Callant "two for second place. Pink Coat was never a serious contender and appears to havo thoroughly trained off. The days first race was easily won by Apple Sweet by two lengths from Aylmer Bruce, which beat Instar a neck for second place. , Automaton played with the field in the third race, winning by four lengths from Sim W which beat Limelight one for second place. The scratching of McChesney in the fifth race robbed it of its interest. Elsie L. won handily by a half length, Hargis finishing four in front of Hoodwink for second place. The fifth race was won by Carl Kahler by a nose from Evelyn Byrd, which beat Bummer one and a half lengths for second place. The day was ideal for racing purposes and tho usual large crowd was present.
