Brunswick was outrun to the stretch, but finished strongly and woro Gennellie down at the end. The latter displayed brilliant peed and held on unexpctedly well. Tremar broke down a furlong out when she had a wining chance. Lord Pepper moved up fast on the far turn and then quit suddenly and unexpectedly and wr evidently unfit to start. Lady Sterling, nearly left,cIo-ed a tremendous gap and finished fast. Ohia, fresh and good, ran a go d race, closing up well at the ei d tinder a weak ride. Pearl Finder and Musidora failed to stay in the going, but Musidora held on well in spite of an incapable jockey. Past ran a bad rae and can do better. Miss Buttermilk tired in the going. Examiner, lucky and skillfully handled, just got p in time to beat the tiring Jo- Cobb for third money. The latter forced the pace from the start and ran a cracking good race.
