Tremar broke down a furlong out when she had a wining chance. Lord Pepper moved up fast on the far turn and then quit suddenly and unexpectedly and wr evidently unfit to start. Pearl Finder and Musidora failed to stay in the going, but Musidora held on well in spite of an incapable jockey. Past ran a bad rae and can do better. Miss Buttermilk tired in the going. Examiner, lucky and skillfully handled, just got p in time to beat the tiring Jo- Cobb for third money. The latter forced the pace from the start and ran a cracking good race.
