WON ON NEW YOKK TRACKS This year the New York racing field, Buffalo not counted, was productive of the imperial total of 798,975 to the owners who raced their horses over the varioas tracks in the state. The racing organizations that were factors in making up this great aggregate were these : Queens County Jockey Club, two meetings. $ 141,935 Westchester Racing Assn, two meetings.. 82,700 Brooklyn Jockey Club, two meetings 343,215 Coney Island Jockey Club, two meetings.. 473,385 Brighton Beach Racing Assn, ono meeting. 226.G05 Saratoga Racing Assn, one meeting 231,135 Total ,798,975 Tho Buffalo meeting was under tho jurisdiction of The Jockey Club and might be fitly included in this table, but only those tracks within the scope of the metropolitan district are treated here. The total at Buffalo was 5,910, which, if included, would bring the total racing return for the State of New York up to ,874,885 and would materially increase the earnings of several stables, Green B. Morris, for instance, having won 0,345 nt Buffalo. McLewee and Co, owing to the great performances of Major Daingorfield and Gold Heels lead in money won, but many other owners show enviable returns from the speed of their horaee.
