NOTES OP THE TUKP. Orloff will be given a special "prep" for theres-cent City Derby and will be among the number shipped from the east to New Orleansjlto earn winter oats. Creamer and E. Walsh, two apprentice jockeys who are under contract to "Father Bill" Daly, are on their way to New Orleans. Creamer rode there last year and is a clever lightwoight. W. C. Whitney has lost by death the two valuable yearlings, the half-sister to Goldsmith, black filly, by Lissak Kildeer, by Darebin, and the half-brother to Blackstock, a bay colt by Longflight Mannie Himyar, by Himyar. The Washington Jockey Club has decided not to plow up its track, and a number of stables which had been prepared to be moved to Marlboro will now be kept in winter quarters, as usual, at Ben-nings. St. Cuthbert, which was injured while warming up recently at New Orleans, will bo ready to race in a couple of weeks. W. P. Burchs crack two-year-old, Grey Friar, has been fired for osslets. The operation was successful. Durnell and Herz, tired of seeing Irving Mayor baaten so many times, have sold Am to Lee Brown
