NOTES OF THE TURF. Manager Wagner, of the Worth track, has instructed Secretary Jasper to prepare conditions for eight stakes to be run at the spring meeting, which will commence April 30 and continue for twenty-one days. The total added money will bo 3,500, an average of about ,700 per stake. It is Secretary J aspers present intention not topnt on a stake exclusively for three-year-olds. Most of the stakes will be handicaps, and the entries will close March 1. T, Licalzi has sold the two-year-old Wilton to W, Newman, who will rest her up and take her east in the spring. O. S., Chicago. Henry of Trastamare won at Lakeside, November 2, 1901. His weight was 63 pounds and Vf . Knapp rode him. Opening odds 30 to 1, closing 8 to 1. chart 29121. It is understood that in case they are ruled off, Hatfield and Ownboy will transfer their horses to another party and ship them to Newport to take part in the outlaw meeting which opens today. Jockey W. Hicks may also accompany them.
