Lady Lusk, favored by a lucky start, stole a winning load in the first part of the race, but was doing her best at the k finish to stall off Quincys determined rush. The latter began slowly, but closed up fast in the final eighth. Floria caught Budget of Fun tiring in the final sixteenth and easily passed her. The others had no chance from where they got off..
