Practically left, Rooney took her the overland route and coming fast in the stretch run, won with something in reserve. By George had no mishaps and ran his race Little Rita was off in motion and did her best. Nannie Goodrich quit when the pinch came. The others had no chance from where they got off. Nannie J. ran the entire distance with part of the barrier wrapped around her. Marcy had a tongh journey, was pinched off at the stretch turn, but again and finished stoutly. .Eleven Bells, favored by her light impost, ran a good race, but tired sliehtlv came when the pinch came.
