Bonnie Lissak showed sudden improvement, worked a rough journey, came from a long way back in the last quarter finished like a cyclone and was much the best. Matin Bell is always handicapped on a cuppy track but finished fast and wants a longer race. Katie Walcott did her best and was a lucky third. Prue made an unexpectedly good showing. Montana Peeress was crowded out of contention early. Cathello showed early speed and was evidently short. Aunt Polly was practically left, then raced into prominence and was pulled up in the last quarter. Corrected -weights - Nellie Hawthorne, 106. Overweights Stirling Towers, 1 pound. Hungarian got away in the lead and retained his advantage by a safe margin throughout and finished with plenty in reserve. He is in great form. Dr. Bernays, away badly, raced on the extreme outside, closing a tremendous gap and ran a phenomenal race. All Green followed the winners pace closely and held on gamely, showing sudden improvement Silver Fizz was closing up fast at the end. Goldone received a poor start and worsn ridt and finished close up. Sugden retired after going a fair half. Illilouon was nearly left and trailed hopelessly out of the race. Quatre, lucky, very fit aad skillfully reserved to the stretch, finished fast on the outside in the good going. Onyx II.. steadily improving in pace and stamina, ran a good race and was unlucky to lose through a weak finish. Esherin received a bad looking ride, trailed in the worst going to the stretch, where she turned hopelessly wide and then ran back again to the inner rail, interferingwith Ball Room Belle. The latter was beaten at tne time. Nanlahka tired badly at the end. Orsius is fast, but faint-hearted. Ball Room Belle has worked very fast, but tired after vainly essaying to take the lead. The latter was nearly left and cfosed a big gap in the final quarter. Malaspina received a weak ride. Reed sat still, making his move only in the last furlong, where she gained a half dozen lengths. Skip Me ran a fair race. Homage was crowded back at the start and traversed the worst goiDg throughout. Scratched 30323 Nona B., 113; 6703 Torila, 1C6; 36479 Ohio Girl. 101. Iilowaho got away badly, but was skillfully handled and reserved to the stretch, where he made good in the final sprint, getting up in the last stride. El Rio Shannon, which made the running throughout, should have won, but, under a weak ride, was swerving through the entire last quarter and finished in the bad going. Axminster, under a vigorous and capable ride, ran a game race, but was unequal to the task and swerved badly right at the end after a terrific drive home. Star Cotton went a good seven furlongs. Frank Woods is in bad form and was hopelessly outran from the start. Iilowaho, show, 1 to 2. El Rio Shannon, show, 9 to 20. Axminster, show, 1 to 3. Frank Woods, show, 2 to J. S
