He was bumped into at the start and cut off and knocked back on the backstretch, then had to go down in deep going to get to the leaders and was hustled along all of the last furlong to stall off Pyrrho. The latter closed a big gap and fini-hed fast. Peat was cut off on the backstretch and his rider had to pull up. Afterwards ho was on the outside all the way.
