NOTES OF THE TURF. While at exercise several days ago Inspector Shea collided with Maghoni, recently purchased by Arnold and Co. from M. Goldblatt, carrying her into the fence and seriously injuring her. One of her hips was injured, and it is not likely that she will be seen at the post again this winter. Prowl, winner of the Arkansas Derby last spring, has been fired, and will probably not be seen at the post again until toward the end of the New Orleans meeting. B. and F., Joliet, 111.
