WORTH STAKES. Last of the Chicago racing organizations to present its stake proposals the Worth Jockey Club announces a list of events for its spring meeting of 1903 which cannot well fail to enlist the approval and patronage of western owners. Eight stakes arel offered, two of which have ,000 added, the others ranging from ,500 down to ,000 added money. Entries are to close March 3 and the list is as"follows : The Worth Handicap, three-year-olds and upward, ,C00 added; 1 1-16 miles. The Powers Handicap, three-year-olds and upward, ,0C0 added; 1 1-8 miles. The Calumet Stakes, three-year-olds, ,500 added; 1 1-16 miles. The Orland Stakes, selling, three-year-olds and upward, ,0C0 added; 1 mile. The Flying Handicap, three-year-olds and upward, ,CC0 added ; 3-4 mile. 1h- Evergreen Stakes, two-year-olds, ,500 added; 5-8 mile. The Admiral Stakes, two-year-olds, colts and geldings, ,CC0 ad Jed ; 4 1-2 furlongs. The May Blossom Stakes, two-year-olds, fillies, 31,uG0 added", 4 1-2 furlongs.
