Frank Rice broke from the outside and Winkfield hustled him along all the way, raced Uranium to subjection in tho first quarter and stood off a challenge from Farmer Jim in tho stretch run. The latter was under a drive all of tha last furlong and ran to his best form. Uranium was well ridden and had no mishaps, but tired after going a half. Frank Kenney got away running, displayed a groat burst of speed, mado a show of his field and was under restraint at the end. Breaker cut across to tho outside at the start and shut off Hazel H., Blueblaze and Zack Ford and then ran a good race. Zack Ford finished fast in tho stretch run.
