KIN LOCH PARK STAKES. Manager Joseph A. Murphy announces five important stakes for the Kinloch Park Spring meeting, which opens the St. Louis racing season. Their terms are published elsewhere in this issue and they deserve and should receive ample entry lists. They are as follows: The Kinloch Inaugural, three-year-olds and upward, ,500 added, 1 mile. The Woodlands Trophy, two-year-olds, ,500 added, 4 1-2 furlongs. The Tranquilla Stakes, three-year-olds and upward, ,000 added, 3-i mile. The Mound City Derby,- three-year-olds, ,000 added, 1 1-8 miles. The Goodwood Selling Stakes, three-year-olds and upward, ,000 added, 1 1-16 miles. In connection with the announcement that no purse of less than 00 will be given, these stakes give Kinloch Park racing a decided accession of importance, and promise well for the future of the track. "Money makes the mare go," in racing as in other affairs, and owners will not fail to appreciate this liberal tender of the new management. With another stake program for its summer meeting Kinloch will at once rank with the other St. Louis meetings in local popularity. Entries are to close Thursday, March 12.
