Marion Lynch was slow to get going, but Otis hustled her along rounding the first turn, raced Miss Shanley to subjection in the run down the backstretch and came away without an effort in the last furlong. Peter Duryea closed a big gap and finished strongly. He was on the extreme outside for the entire trip. Brown Vail showed speed. Anti Trust finished on the inside in the deep going. Miss Shanley was eased up when beaten. Zack Ford stumbled and fell at the far turn. Scratched 37720 Euterpe, 99; 37632 Nyx, 99. Overweights Dougherty, 2$ pounds. Marion Lynch, show, out. The latter displayed early speed, but seemingly could not last the trip. Huntressa was outrun in the first half, but finished fast. The others were never serious contenders. Stratton raced Jessie Jarboe to defeat, but tired in the stretch run from his early effort. Jessie Jarboe ran poorly and has lost her good form. Hoodwink ran well and should improve. Albert Lee was crowded back at the start, but closed up a big gap and outgamed Fon Spray when it came to the final drive. The latter was on the outside for the entire trip. The former was much the best, was forced into the deep going at the turn into the homestretch and stood punishment gamely in the stretch run. Dodie S. was tiring badly at the end. Banish got a bad ride. Pollak took him back a couple of times in the early stages and he came with a belated rush. Pay the Fiddler finished in the deep .going.
