NOTES OF THE TURF. T. C. McDowell has shipped to William Chandler his three colts that have been in training at Ashland, Ky., for two years. They are: Escurial, b. c, 3, by Esher Camilla; Salvatella, b. f, 3, by Salvaces, and Al-ster, br. f, 3, by Hamburg Dareka. They go to Tom Green at Sheepshead Bay. It is said on good authority that the colors of United States Senator Gorman will be seen in the steeplechases at Pimlico during the meeting of the Maryland Steeplechase Association in the week beginning April 18 and continuing five days. The Maryland Hunt Cup will be the chief fixture of the opening day.
