Beautiful and Best showed the most speed throughout, made all his own pace and won In a romp. Class Leader ran well throughout and outgamed Joe Buckley when it came to a drive. The latter did his best, had no mishaps and was well ridden. Irene Mac swerved at the start and cut across in front of Oronte and the two were virtually left. Won driving; second easily Molinos wore the leaders down while rounding the far turn, came through on the inside at the stretch turn and outgamed E. Tierney at the end in a hard drive. The latter was on the outside for the entire trip and ran a fine race, but tired in the last sixteenth. This race should improve him. Esherson showed speed, but tired when it came to a hard drive Laura Ireland was eased up when beaten. Latoila ran into the fence while on the way to the post and injured one of her legs. Rightful had a rough trip, got caught in a Jam at tho first turn and again at tho turn into tho stretch, but enrao with a rush when ho got clear and finished going fast. Floyd K. was cut off at tho far turn and ran into a pockot at the furlong post, but finished well under a drlvo and outgamed Jake Greenborg. Tho latter was placed in tho first half, and put up a good stretch run. Tho Don and Semper Vlvum were used up in setting the paco. Tan-cred quit in tho last quartor. Zyra finished with a rush on tho outside, fought it out gamely with The Stewardess and got up in the last stride. Tho latter ran well and outgamed Ailyar when it came to the final drive. Tatar ran well up with Crest until in the last quarter, then moved up fast and took the lead when Crest quit and came away without much effort at the end. Daryl was outrun to the first turn of the field, but gradually wore the leaders down afterwards and finished gamely. Crest showed the most speed in the early stages, but tired under her heavy impost in the last quarter. Hand Vice was under restraint for the first mile, but tired when strongly called on. Lord Radnor fell at the first jump. George W. Jenkins fell at the last jump. The latter was in a contending position when he fell. Governor Boyd fell at the seventh jump and Eva Moe at the eleventh. Henry waited with him for the first half and came around the leaders at the turn into the homestretch and fought it out closely with Lapidus all through the last furlong. Lapidus showed the most early speed and ran a good race, but was tiring at the end. Alfred C. finished fast and would have been second in another, stride. Edgardo tired when stronglv called on and the race should improve him. Chappaqua quit early. Scratched 3S0972Little Elkin, 100. Overweights Cogswell, 2i pounds; El Caney, 2. Cogswell, show, 1 to 3.
