Carrie I. outbroke her field and opened up a winning gap before the others got to going and. had plenty in reserve at the end. Golden Cottage closed a big gap and had to go all around his field to get up. Khaki ran well, but was tiring at the end. He looked "big when going,, to the post and was probably a bit short. Mary Glenn got caught in a jam right after the start and her rider had to pull up after which she came fast. Suburban Queen and Malto-ferin can do better. Bugler had to go all around his field to get up, Austin was of no help to him and he ran on his own courage all the way. Triumvir outgamed Hortense when it came to a stretch drive. Nannie Hodge was moving while the others were standing still when the barrier went up, was at home in the going, showed a lot of speed and made a show of her field. Lady Amelia was cut off at the start, had to go up on the inside in the deep going and was under a drive in the last sixteenth to stall off Radium. The latter closed a big gap and finished fast. Domsie and Ruby Ray fought it out all through the last furlong, the former staying best. Ruby Ray has probably trained off. Ecome could not extend himself in the going.
