"Williams waited with him until straightened out for home before making his run. He finished fast and caught Amorous tiring at the end. The latter was off well in motion and was under a hard drive all of the last furlong to stall off Flora Bright. The latter outgamed Maxette when it came to a drive. Scratched— 38713-Kim, 109. Qaptain Duckado finished fast and would have been second in a few more ! strides. Poor Boy was left at the post and closed a big gap. He ran into a pocket at the s far turn and Winkfield pulled him up and went all around his field. He was easily best and 1 would have cantered home had he got off.
