Captain Duckado raced Magi to defeat in the first half, went wide at the turn into the homestretch and came away with a rush in the stretch run. Flora Bright saved ground all the way and came through on the inside at the turn into the homestretch, but tired when the pinch came. Tom Kingsley had every advantage. He was off running, but dropped out of it on the backstretch, then came again and outgamed St. AVood in the final drive. Magi quit badly. Avas under restraint for the first half, was Avell ridden and ran his race. LoAes Labor Avas repeatedly bumped into in the first quarter, but outgamed Gold Bell Avhen it came to a drive. Port AVarden came A*ery fast in the last furlong and just managed to get uri in time to beat Pontchartrain. The latter tired Avhen it came to a hard drive. Comora ran a bad race and can do better.
