Ericula showed the most speed throughout, came a little wide on the turn for home losing ground, but came fast when straightened out and won going away. Amelia Richardson ran well, but tired in the final drive. Blue Darter was given a very weak ride and can do much better. Stormy was only beaten in the last stride for third place. The latter made one of his usual strong stretch runs after laying out of it for the first part. Honolulu ran poorly. Lord Badge tired. Delagoa ran a good race and hung on gamely. Mrs. Frank Foster quit badly and was almost beaten for thrid place by Maru. The latter showed much improvement.
