Won easily; second the same Ida Davis easily wore down Hindilene in the final eighth, winning as her rider pleased Handsome Florry was cut off sharply on the turn from the half, but made up much frround in the last eighth and finished stoutly. She was badly ridden and the best Badger Girl made a fast move up just before turning for home, but tired fast when the pinch came Hindilene showed much speed, but fell away beaten when a sixteenth out Gold Piece squatted as the barrier went up and had little chance by the time she was in her full stride Corrected weights — Bernice, 112; Gold Piece, 115. Alene Abbott finished stoutly under punishment. Rag Tag tired rapidly in the last quarter. He can do better. Lord Melbourne was cut out of position at the first turn and had little chance thereafter. Do Madge tired after showing well for seven furlongs. Safeguard and Emir ran well for six furlongs.
