Start good. Won driving; second the same. . Poppy Leaf and Sky Blue fought it out all through the last quarter and the former out-gamed the latter. Sky Blue was made too much use of early and was tiring at the end. Lillianette came fast in the stretch and was overhauling the leaders at every stride. Glen-acre finished fast. McClusky allowed her to drop out of contention on the backstretch and made her move when too late. She made up much ground while going around the far turn and finished fast. Destitute was pinched off shortly after the start and knocked back. Advocator received a weak ride. Nuptial began slowly and Adams did not seem to try. Hallucination finished very fast and was gaining on the first two at the finish. Lucrusta showed improvement, and so did Per Centum. Maru dia not run to the mark. Prince David ran a fairly good race.
