Red Knight made the running under restraint and won easing up and was much the best. Yardarm, away tangled up and compelled to pull up in apocket on the first turn, forced an opening next to the rail while going up the backstretch and trailed the winner home an easy second. Ink ran a fast and game race. Sun Gold evidently disliked the going, but stuck to his work gamely and was an easing up fourth. St. Daniel failed to stay, tirjlng badly right at the end. At post 2 minutes. Start good. Won easily; second driving. Knight of the Garter got away running and led throughout, scoring a lucky victory. Zoroaster got away poorly and was repeatedly interfered with, but was closing up at the end like a cyclone and was evidently the best. Ella Snyder broke flatfooted and was crossed on the first turn, but got through next to the rail and leading into the stretch seemed like a sure winner when she suddenly fell away. St. Sever was going fast at the end. Douro failed to stay after having made a strong bid at the end of a mile. Gloriosa is evidently a non-stayer. Hopeful Miss quickly took the lead and had an easy task in disposing of her opponents. Luminosity got away slowly and worked through an early rough journey, finishing out a game second. Possession steadily improved her position from a poor start. M. Theo tired in the last furlong. Aggie Lewis is evidently not quite keyed up, but displayed superior speed. Inquisitive Girl was pocketed next to the rail and shut off at the half and compelled to pull up, her chances being practically destroyed.
