Kinloch Park broke with great speed, soon established a long lead and was never in danger. George Fabb showed surprising improvement and ran a fairly good race. Geortuga was off badly, much interfered with and ran a winning race from where she got off. Iris showed sudden and great improvement. Oakling showed early speed, but tired and is best in mud. Won easily; second the same Miss Crawford, which seems to be a good filly, won as if she was mucli the best went to the front when given her head and won in a canter. Sararose had clear sailing and ran to her best form. Perla made the early pace on sufferance and tired when overhauled in the stretch. Wreath of Ivy was outrun in the first part of the race, but finished fast St Agnes II. by no means ran her race. Bengal broke in front set his own pace throughout and was never in danger. Venus Victrix chased him vigorouslv all the way and was best of the others. Kingstelle was given an easy race. One More showeTl speed, but was weakly handled. Kittie failed Clyde to run her race. This mare seems to hp off. La Rouge ran a good race from where she got off. Overweights — Bengal. 2 pounds. Bas dOr was well ridden to the stretch and ran a good race, but was given a weak finish and barely lasted. Sheehan is a heavy handed boy and did not do the colt full justice. Sioux Chief is of an improving kind, set a ripping pace and was well ridden, but was in close quarters in the stretch. Had Booker been able to use the whip he might have won. Ranchman ran in much improved form. Sister Lillian can do much better. Pathos suffered at the start, where she was pinched off. Scratched— 39337 Pettijohn, 104; 39577 Sceptre, 101. Mistie broke from behind, rushed through the field, had a rough trip generally and was possibly the best horse in the race. Clinton B. showed speed and hung on courage -ously. Kittie G. had a stormy journey. Mrs. Wiggs closed up much ground. Overweights— Mrs. Wiggs, 3 pounds; Lady Idris, 2. Dolly Gray, show, 7 to 10. Mistie, show, 7 to 5. Clinton B., show, 15 to 1.
