Ravelment and Lee Ridley fought it out between them all the way and the former proved gamest and was going away at the end. Pieratt rode a yery confident race. Lee Ridley lasted longer than usual, but weakened when the pinch came. Fuego ran a good race and was wearing Lee Ridley down at the end.
