Ethel Davis showed the most speed, was away poorly but quickly worked her way to the front and was only cantering all the way and won as her rider pleased. John Coulter closed a tremendous gap, went around his hirses and finished very fast. Jigger went very wide "1 into the stretch. Zonne tired at the end. The Globe raced Jim Ferrin into submission in the first three furlongs and came away at the end under a drive. Orderly caught Jim Ferrin when turning into the stretch, finished i very fast and was overhauling the winner in the last furlong. Jim Ferrin barely saved third place from All Good. Autolight was ridden a waiting race, found an opening at the turn into the homestretch and came through next to the inside rail, caught the leaders tiring in the stretch run and came away cantering. Easy Street was outrun in the first part of the race, but had something left at the end and easily got second place from tiring horses. Glenwood ran well throughout. Hopedale and Honolulu wore each other out in the early pacemaking and tired badly when the pinch came. Bank Street displayed but little speed. Autolight, show, 3 to 5. Easy Street, show, 2 to 5. On the Quiet showed the most °arly speed, but tired when the pinch came. Barnacle ran his race and had no mishaps. Bargee did not run his race. Briers ran poorly and had no mishaps. Lord TTnrnndole was easily the best of the others and secured second place without much effort. Manle Sugar came very fast at the end and outgamed Billy Ray in the final drive. Beana i oViifi Tipver eet up. Presgraves rider lost -his stirrups at the seventh jump and fell at the ninth obstacle. Sols saddle girth broke and he was pulled up. .
