Always Faithful had a rough trip, but was given a vigorous ride, and finishing fast, got up in the last stride. Amberita ran the best race of her career and finished gamely. Caithness ran a dull race and tired in the stretch. Second Mate was given an easy race and can do better. The others never were contenders.
