WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB ACTION. The regular meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club was held Monday, November 2, 1903. Upon application the following persons and horses were restored to good standing: Jos. W. Yerkes, owner; Ira Cox, trainer; Lady Burlington, property of Rice Brothers. The following applications for reinstatement were denied: W. H. Fizer, owner; W W. Vansant, owner; H. Worthington, jockey; Frank Lawless, jockey. Applications for reinstatement of persons arid horses who had raced at the Newport meeting were denied, with the following exceptions, which were passed for consideration to the next meeting: G. H. Marlman, owner; P. S. Burrell, jockey; James Rooney, jockey; Paul Egbert, owner; W. F. Taylor, owner, and the horses Wyola, Ravensbury. The meeting adjourned until Friday, No- vember 6, 1903, at 10 a. m.
