Miss Aubrey was favored by the going, made a show of her company and was only Ganter-ing all the way. Hilee had a clear course and ran a fairly good race only. Dynasty had very little chance from where he got off, but made up considerable ground. King Rose also got off poorly. Ben Howard ran below his true form. Father Tallent showed the most early speed but tired at the finish under punishment. Rainland began slowly, as usual, but closed a big gap and came fast in the last quarter.
