Free Admission was bumped into at the start and had to take the overland route to get up, finished fast and outgamed Tioga when it came to a hard drive. Macbeth is a quick beginner, raced Mollie T. into submission in the first half and seemed like an easy winner at the turn into the homestretch, but tired in the last sixteenth and had to stand a long, hard drive to beat out Emma A. M. The latter closed a big gap and finishing fast would have won in a few more strides. Baronet saved ground at the turn into the homestretch, where he cut the corner, but was tiring at the end. Russellton was as good as left at the post and closed a big gap. Ho is worth remembering and will surely win on a heavy track. Siddara and Pirates Daughter finished gamely.
