ELECTION OF OFFICERS. Kansas City, Mo., January 3. The Kansas City Jockey Clnb has elected officers and directors for the year. Owing to the repeal of the breeders law at the last session of the state legislature, the officials of the club say, there is no possibility of any racing under the auspices of the club during the year 1900. The officers elected nre as fellows: President, Dr. J. S. Gardner, Kansas City; Vice-president, Edward Corrigan, Chicago; Secretary, Benjamin Holmes, Kansas City: Treasurer, W. A. Rule, Kansas City. Among the newly elected directors are the following: M. IS. Witt, Jemphls; Edward Corrigan, J. S. Gardner, C. C. Christie, W. A. Rule, E. E. Sweeney and Judge John C. Tarsney, Kansas City.
