NEW MEMPHIS JOCKEY CLUB STAKES. In this issue of Daily Racing Form will be found the advertisement of the New .Memphis Jockey Club of the stakes offered, which will close March 5tH. In addition to the Tennessee Derby. ,000 added, and the Tennessee Oaks, ,000 added, which closed January a year ago. there is now offered three stakes for. two-year-olds, viz.: The Gaston Hotel Stakes for colts and geldings; ,000 added; 4 furlongs. The Ardelle Stakes, for fillies; ,000 added; -1 furlongs. The Memphis Stakes, for two-year-olds; ,000 added; 5 furlongs. One stake for three-year-olds, the Hotel Gayoso Stakes, ,000 added, one mile. Three stakes for three-year-olds and over. The Montgomery Handicap, 2,500 added; 1 1-1C "The Peabody Hotel Handicap, ,000 added; 1 1-S 1,1 The Tennessee Brewing Company Selling Stakes; ,000 added; 7 furlongs. The winners of the Montgomery Handicap and the Peabodr Handicap will each receive in addition .to the stakes, a valuable piece of silver. Ilorsemens attention is called to the fact that these stakes will close March 5h, and those Intending to race at Memphis should attend to their stake entries at once.
