Queen Aileene, away badly, closed a big gap, ran on the Inside In prominent contention to the linaf sixteenth, then failed to stay. Menden finished with a belated rush. John N. Macene showed speed, but dropped to the rear in the stretch. Lydie Wrons-nian finished well. Anirad made up considerable ground. Serenity, away poorly, seemed unable to raise a respectable gallop. AAon in a canter; second driving. Wenrick ran in close pursuit of Haven Run for six furlongs and, Avhen called on in the stretch, Avon as his rider pleased. Haven Run forced a stiff pace and, after being quickly passed by the Avinner, had an easy task to save second place. Bird of Passage, suddenly Improved, Avas in forward contention from the start and going gamely at the end, but swerving to the inside. Blackthorn ran a bad race. Canejo failed to stay-Arrah Gowan Avas suddenly pulled up at the half and sulked, apparently, and bolting, threw his jockey, running away several miles. Fulletta, reserved in the rear overlong, came along Avlth a fast, but belated stretch run and finished an easing up second. Judge made the running undisturbed for six furlongs and maintained his speed in improved fashion. Brlarthorpe Avent well throughout and is about due. Ralph Young moved up fast in the last quarter, but failed to make any serious impression on the leaders. Spring Ban, running Avell for six furlongs, swerved at the end and can do better.
