Plnstieker went to the front at once and, showing the most speed throughout, won In a canter. Muffins ran a good race, but ills weight was a burden he could not successfully carry and he had to fight it out hard with Swell Girl at the end. The latter closed a big gap and was coming fast at the finish. Abjure ran fairlv well. Philador and Sweet Favor showed speed, but tired in the homestretch. Dorothy M. finished fast, caught Budapest and outstayed her atlthc end. The latter was well ridden and finished gamely under punishment. Runsum came fast through the stretch. Little. The hitter ran a good raee, but was held back too long and was ridden all over the track at the finish. MeWilliams got off slowly and tired after making up much ground. Sigmund finished well. Esteplatz and" Tenny burn showed speed, but quit. Dapple Gold ran ioorly. Consuelo began slowly and had to run on the outside and turned wide into the homestretch, then came on like a shot and won drawing away. Ethics closed a gap, came fast around the last turn and appeared the winner in the stretch, but tired under hard pressure. Blennenworth showed much speed, but tired as if short and should iie improved by the race. Celebration finished fairly well. Nine ran poorly. The Regent and Bernice Miowed early speed.
