DANNY MAHER LEAVES FOR ENGLAND. Danny Maher sailed for England on Saturday with twenty trunks and a man servant. Before leaving he held a reception at his Broadway hotel in New York and told some friends that this would probably be his last season on the English turf. Sir James Miller, to whom Maher was under contract to ride this year, died recently and the jockey at present is without an engagement, although his services are in demand on the other side and may be secured by Lord Derby.
