HITCHCOCK WANTS 0,000 FOR SALVIDERE. Saratoga, N. Y., August 23. Thomas Hitchcock, Jr., was asked by Matt Allen on behalf of J. B. Brady to put a price on Salvidere today, and named 0,000. Brady remarked that figure was too steep and offered 5,000, which was declined. With Accountants victory In the Saratoga Derby, Brady seems prepared to go the limit and everyone is expecting to hear that the great two-year-old has changed hands.
