BAD TRACK AT WINDSOR. Detroit, Mich., August 27. The rain of yesterday left the Windsor track slow and lumpy today. Consequently, withdrawals were plentiful and the third race was declared off entirely. Another for four-year-olds and upward, at a mile, was substituted. Three favorites rewarded the talent and all of them won handily enough with the exception of Foxmead In the first, which was put to the hardest kind of a drive to beat out Operator, the 25 to 1 chance. The feature of the card was the handicap at five and a half furlongs, for two-year-olds. Mlnot appeared the best and rewarded the confidence of her backers by cantering home two lengths in front of Salvlsa.
